Acceptable Use Policy

A short list of things that will get an account suspended. Almost nobody ever runs into it.

Version 1.0 · Effective · Last updated

1. Scope

This policy applies to everyone using Core, and forms part of the terms of service.

2. Things you must not do

  • Break any applicable law, including the laws of Singapore.
  • Share your account, or resell, sublicense or rent access to the Service.
  • Attempt to access another person's account or data.
  • Probe, scan or test the security of the Service without written permission. Good-faith reports to support@coregatesolutions.com are welcome and are not a breach.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract source code, except where that restriction is unenforceable by law.
  • Interfere with the Service, overload it, or use automated tools to scrape it.
  • Use Core to build or train a competing product.
  • Impersonate anyone, or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or organisation.

3. Content

Do not upload or store content that is unlawful, that infringes someone's rights, that harasses or threatens, that sexualises or endangers a child, or that contains malware.

Specific to Corefitness: do not use it to promote or coordinate self-harm, disordered eating, or dangerously extreme dieting or training. If a coach believes a plan request is unsafe they will decline it. We enforce this strictly, and if we are concerned about someone's wellbeing we may point them toward professional support.

4. Fair use

All plans are described as unlimited within reasonable personal use. In practice that means:

  • File uploads up to 25 MB each, with generous total storage.
  • SMS reminders in Corecalendar up to 200 messages per month; beyond that we pass through the carrier rate at cost.
  • Personal use, not automated or commercial-scale bulk use.

If your usage is genuinely extraordinary we will contact you and discuss it before doing anything else.

5. Bookings and messaging

Booking confirmations and reminders sent through Corecalendar must relate to appointments the recipient has actually requested. Do not use them to send marketing. Bulk unsolicited messaging breaches Singapore's Spam Control Act 2007 and this policy, and risks the deliverability of messages for every other Core user.

6. Enforcement

For most issues we contact you first and give you a reasonable chance to put it right. For serious matters — child safety, malware, attacks on the Service, or anything threatening other users — we may suspend access immediately and tell you afterwards.

Repeated or unresolved breaches are grounds for closing the account under the terms of service. Accounts closed for serious breach are not refunded.

7. Reporting abuse

Email support@coregatesolutions.com with what you saw and where. We acknowledge within one business day. Reports involving child safety are actioned immediately and referred to the appropriate authorities.
